The City Clerk’s Office serves as the City’s principal office responding to Public Information requests. In doing so, the City complies with the Public Information Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 552.
The City of Von Ormy makes every attempt to make most government information available to the public but some exceptions do exist. If an exception applies to the requested information, the City may withhold the information and seek a ruling from the Texas Attorney General.
When requesting information from the City, please complete a City of Von Ormy PIR Formand submit to the City Clerk’s Office for review and processing. Requests may be hand delivered, mailed, faxed or e-mailed to the City Clerk’s Office.

Charges associated to requests are in accordance with the fees established by the Von Ormy Master Fee Schedule. In accordance with the Public Information Act, the City of Von Ormy has 1o working days to fulfill such requests or if request will require longer than 10 days requestor will be notified of such and be given an estimated time of completion within those 10 days.
