The Von Ormy City Archives contains records of the civic government of Von Ormy from 2008 to the present. These records include City Council and committee minutes, account books, correspondence, reports, court records, maps and plans and drawings all of which document the development of the City of Von Ormy.
The Von Ormy City Archives also acquires private collections that relate to the history of Von Ormy or to individuals who lived here. The first private donation to the City Archives was the CIVO (Committee to Incorporate Von Ormy) Collection, which contains the records, minutes, lettters and presentation materials of the incorporation effort which lasted from 2005 - 2008.

Committee to Incorporate Von Ormy (CIVO) was a Texas non-profit association formed in the summer of 2006 by residents of Von Ormy, Texas to incorporate Von Ormy into a municipality. The CIVO officers were:
